This is my review section of my blog. A whole new PAGE! I am constantly rearranging and changing.
So I realize that, in addition to random personal anecdotes, there is really nothing much to say about this blog, which on the whole is quite SAD. So as an aspiring journalist I have decided to use this word space to good use. I will write reviews on movies, feel free to leave movies that you would like to be reviewed and I will try to watch them during the summer.
REVIEW #1
A Walk to Remember, directed by Adam Shankman, starring Shane West and Mandy Moore. The movie focuses on the protagonist Landon Carter, and his struggle from 'bad boy' to good guy. Although religion overthrows the movie, it gives the movie some charm as to how Jamie Sullivan, the heroine, became to be. It is predictable, as far as a movie goes, and it was the same old ball and chain. Women have wept over less, supposedly. Although the plot is somewhat lacking in originality, the soundtrack has something to be said for, as it follow the story perfectly, and although not the most varying in song choice, very well picked for the occasion. 3.7/5 Golden Eggs.
Thank you for reading!
So, I wanted to go the movies. I was all set to see MIB3. But no, I haaaaad to see Snow White and the Huntsman, because my dad was like, *fake dad voice* "I want to see this movie, I heard it was an action one" But we all know that it's because he totally thinks Kristen (egghhhh...I retch at the name) Stewart is Hawt. With a capital H.
REVIEW # 2
Snow White and the Huntsman is a new-age fairytale type fantasy directed by Rupert Sanders. This movie featured Kristen Stewart as Snow White, a role she was well suited for, her demenor was not cold but somehow it was rather regal throughout the movie. Charlize Theron, playing Ravenna, or the Wicked Queen was an interesting character study, but rather overbearing and took away from the overall plot. The movie contains interesting style choices, with lighting usually following soundtrack choice. The movie seemed very modern in taste, though it kept up with the rural backgrounds of the fairytale. 3/5 Golden Eggs.
